Unfortunately trying the step above I cant tell you the update number of the last update installed as all been wiped off. I have had problems with updates before but that was installing for them rather than searching for them. Do get the blue screen up also sometimes but unfortunately can only remember one saying about Memory management I think.

I have tried all the above suggestions such as WindowsUpdateDiagnost Problems found- Problems installing recent updates- Fixed it says; Service registration is missing or corrupt- not fixed it says. Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Diagnostic Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem. None of these are working to fix this error.

I did all the steps suggested to fix error I have restarted my computer and done all of these steps again and again. It works now! It is currently checking for what I have installed blah blah blah.
